A LITTLE CREATIVE INSPIRATION
Add a little sparkle to your printed journal pages
The jewels and glitter in this design are printed effects. If you enjoy a hands-on finish, add a few real sparkling accents after printing. A little goes a long way.
- Print and test. Print one page at 100% on paper suitable for your printer. Let the ink dry, then test a small dab of glitter glue on a scrap of the same paper.
- Choose a few details. Try a flower center, a butterfly wing edge, or a small gold accent. Leave Scripture and writing areas clear so the page stays easy to read and use.
- Use a light touch. A fine-tip glitter glue offers more control than sprinkling loose glitter. Work with tiny dots or thin lines; too much moisture may curl the paper.
- Let it dry flat. Follow the glue maker's drying directions. Keep the page out of your journal until fully dry, and avoid raised embellishments where they would press against another page.
